2016 Year in Review - Our Achievements
I'm going to share with you Party In Canberra's achievements of 2016, because, to be perfectly honest running a startup business is hard, and we are proud AF!!
In 2016 we've grown from "just a Facebook page", to a legitimate business. We're well on our way to achieving our goal of becoming the "go to" business for people planning a bachelorette party in Canberra. We're helping people find Canberra's hidden fun and pushing people to try something a little left of centre.
This year we:
Launched our website in August.
Published 20 blogs.
Confirmed that our market research was accurate (#DamnStraightItWas!).
Had 19 businesses share our vision and join our Party In Canberra business community.
Launched our Instagram page @PartyInCanberra in August and received over 3500 ❤️'S on our posts.
Nearly reached 1000 Facebook followers (so close!)
Attended multiple VIP events.
Added a party planning consultation service to Party In Canberra in October.
Had 2 of our articles published by Her Canberra's Unveiled, with more to come.
Launched our mailing list in November.
Attended our first wedding fair and received HUGELY positive feedback from bride tribes. 90% of groups that came to the event voluntarily subscribed to our mailing list (which YOU can also do at the bottom of this page)
Created a strong and solid foundation to build our business on.
And most importantly to us...
Started proving that the old saying "There's nothing to do in Canberra" is a load of CRAP! 💩
We are building strong new networks within the Canberra business community and truly love showing off the amazing things Canberran businesses have to offer.
2017 is looking to be another big year. We're booked in for 5 BIG wedding fairs, will keep collaborating with Her Canberra, have invested in our marketing, and have a bunch of cheeky secrets hidden up our sleeves which we know bride tribes will LOVE.
We want more businesses to join our business community (make contact through our contact us page). We want to plan more amazing parties that people remember even when dementia is setting in. We want the world to know how much fun Canberra is!
We've worked hard. CRAZY HARD! But we know that everything we've done is worth it. None of this would have been possible without the support of the Canberra community & our tribes. A huge thank you and a hilarious hug with too much groping goes out to all of you!
Cheers to 2017!
Xo Jess
